Very attractive Lipstick plant and also an ultra rare species known only from Mulu National Park in Sarawak to Brunei, with large bright yellow flowers. Besides the glorious blooms, this specie also has a very long and flaring calyx. Leaf alone is unique, even when not in bloom, with lush purple-green foliage and maroon underside.
Rather a slow grower but seem fairly easy to grow in relatively high humidity under light shade.
