Aeschynanthus minutifolius

$35.00

Fantastic miniature species with unusual growth habit - either readily roots along becoming a way they spread or branch (something like stolons) to form new colonies. This cascading habit is rarely seen among species of the genus. Their spectacular red blooms are also in double size of the plant and rise all year round!

This species was discover only in a single location in Western Thailand, though the major population may occur in Myanmar.

Performs well in airy epiphyts potting mix if grown in baskets, or mounted on barks or tree-fern plaques using thin layer of high quality sphagnum. Rather sensitive to soggy media and hence needs careful watering.

Offered are cutting-grown plants, established in 3" pot
