A small attractive ground cover species. Major population occurs in Southern China with smaller distribution in Northern Vietnam. It makes a diminutive, slowly stoloniferous, tropical-looking appearance with 6" long x 3" wide green leaves highlighted by broad silver streaks. The basal flower spikes of bright red occur in April-May. Simply charming for deep shady areas where most gingers do not perform well!
It is evergreen and cold tolerance down to 5 Celseus degrees without visible damages. Despite low growing, it is fairly easy and performs well in most traditional potting mixes.
Offered are divisions, established in 6" pot
