Collectible epiphytic fern bears long and drooping fronds, up to 2 ft. long. Each leaflet is lance to broadly lance-shaped, long tapered tip, boxy to wedge-shaped base. The stalk is purple to brown coloured, up to 20 cm long. Unlike many species of this type, this species does not form new plants from leaf tips, instead occur at the base of the maure plants.
Despite low growing, it is a fairly easy fern and tolerates for cooler temperatures better than others. Perform well in most epiphyt mix and demand lots of water once established.
