A stunning Chinese limestone dweller with some more dramatic appearance. Unlike other species occur in this region, its leaf shape is almost round in outline and is comparatively smaller overall in all its parts. Its foliage is generally a deep black-green with a heavy silver band centered along the veining. New growth exhibits a strong reddish tinge which compliments the base color.
It is a lover of high humidity and hence will make a great non-invasive addition to a terrarium or as a terrarium specimen alone. Adding 10% by volume of limestone chips in to the potting mix promotes growth and leaf color.
Offered are mature plants, established in 3" pot.
