An evergreen species does not form shield fronds. It is a compact grower with 5" across divided fronds that are in red-orange color when young! Its creeping rhizome usually long spreads before producing fronds.
Due to its growth habit, this fern is not suitable to grow in pot. Excellent for mounting on a tree-fern plaque or basket culture. Use coarse, airy epiphyt potting mix and top with high quality sphagnum for the best result.
Offered are mature plants, established in 4" pot
