Drynaria quercifolia "Cristata 1"

$25.00

Awesome sport of the huge Drynaria quercifolia. The leaf margins terminate with rounded crests. Fronds can grow to 2 ft. long and 6” across.

It share very similar culture with the Quercifolia; perform well both in pot and mounted on a tree-fern plaque. Particularly for this form, need higher light level and regular prunning the old fronds as the fronds always shaded each other, making the new growth not fully developed. This species is a seasonal plant that rest (leafless) from early January to early May. During the dormancy, it needs less water (just enough to keep media around roots moist).

Offered are divisions, established in 6" pot
