Perform well both in a basket and mounted on a tree-fern plaque. Particularly for basket culture, try to use coarse, porous media and keep fairly dry between watering. This species is a seasonal plant that rests (leafless) from early January to early May. It is advise to reduce water just to keep the media slightly moist during the dormancy period.
