This handsome fern is often misclassified as Drynaria quercifolia. Although both species look similar, Drynaria sparsisora has harder, glossy, plastic-liked fronds, reaching 12-15" rise from spotted creeping rhizome. The rhizomes are not covered with brown hairs like the Quercifolia, also branch easier along the spreading path.
This species is evergreen, fairly easy though low growing. Perform well both in pot and mounted on a slab of tree-fern.
Offered are mature plants, established in 4" pot
