Exotic fern from South American cloud forest, with distinctive foliage; large paddle-shaped fronds entirely covered with long hairs. Sori occurs undersides of the fronds in almost black color.
It is a low growing epiphyt spreads by short crepping rhizomes. Does best in high humidity and good air movement.
