Newly described and locally endemic species, known from just a few locations in Southern Thailand. This compact growing Ginger is highly ornamental, with shiny leaves painted with silver stripes and shoot nodding inflorescences, with many dainty, yellowish, orchid-like flowers that last for few weeks!
Generally the Southern occurring species, though they are evergreen, are rather challenge to grow. Stable environment with relatively high humidity and good air movement is major key to success.
