Our exclusive colection of the rare and unusual Broad Leaf form, which found a small population in Peninsular Malaysia and Sumatra, characterized by wider 4" across fronds that can grow to 2 ft. long. Occassionally produces spiral leaves!
Similar to other species of the genus, it is a challenge and low growing fern. Need perfect air movement and sensitive to wide cultural swings. In case of no Platycerium roots, it performs well by using high quality sphagnum covers the root balls and then mounted on a tree-fern or wooden plaque, or upside-down potting culture like growing other tassel ferns.
Offered are mature plants, established in 6" pot (1 ft. long fronds)
