Marvelous species from Andes cloud forest of Ecuador, forming loose mound of highly silvery patterns on peltate leaves. The Peltate Leaf type is rarely morphology seen among Neotropical Piper. Compact and rather a slow grower. It does not seem to be too difficult under terrarium type conditions. Stunningly attractive when well grown!
