One of the most beautiful Pipers and possibly a new species from Padawan, Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo, with very quilted, hand size foliage in deep green and sharp silvery splash veins on hairy stems.
It is an upright grower produces white spathe atop. Matures to approx. 2 ft., but it is not a fast grower so can be maintained easily in a small space in its juvenile stage. Enjoys shade and humidity as a houseplant or terrarium subject.
