An elegant Tongue Fern from karst limestone of Southern China. Unlike other species that perform well in shady positions, this one occurs on upper cliff, expose to direct sun and strong wind so be sure it is a drought tolerant fern. It bears long blade frond, reaching 2 ft. in deep green and tinted in gray underside. All parts, including rhizome, are covered with short hairs.
Here it does best in epiphytic mix, which contains high quality sphagnum, perlite, bark and 10% by volume of limestone chips. Be careful not to make the media and leaves wet.
Offered are divisions, established in 4" pot
