This highly ornamental Tongue Fern originated from Japan and have been cultivated here for 20 years. It bears sturdy, 8-12" fronds with randomly auraea variegation; solid green, green and yellow stripes and pure yellow on the entire frond. Undersides of the leaves are in brown color.
By nature of the plants, this specie is rather a slow grower. Does best in coarse, porous media and prefers lapse between watering. Best suit for basket culture.
Offered are mature plants, established in 4" pot
