This unusual variety is rarely seen in cultivation. The leaves are in bright green when young before eventually change into yellow and finally in red-orange color.
It rambles and readily roots along becoming a spreading mat. Does exceedingly well in terrariums or outdoors if provide enough humidity. The best color occurs when grown under medium to high light level.
